Stella has a background in international development, international relations and cultural anthropology. She has experience in policy development, qualitative and quantitative research and the machinery of government.

Stella is interested in finding solutions to complex social issues that are grounded in lived experiences and cultural considerations. She has worked on issues such as contraception and birth control, human rights, intimate partner violence, and LGBTQIA+ issues.

Stella enjoys finding connection between differing needs and perspectives, and on working across disciplines and methods for social change. She is a natural communicator who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders and thrives in fast paced and unfamiliar environments.
