Michael Costello-Czok



Michael has over 20 years’ experience working in health promotion/education, advocacy, policy and management. He has worked extensively across community, government and the private sectors, predominantly responding to issues relating to HIV/sexual health and healthcare issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

As a senior consultant at Allen + Clarke, Michael focuses on the Indigenous Australians Health Programme (IAHP) Yarnes project – Evaluation of the Australian Government’s Investment in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care. Michael is a Central Arrernte of the Arrernte Nation, also acknowledging his Irish, English and Finnish heritages.

Michael has deep experience working to achieve better, more equitable outcomes for persons experiencing disadvantage or discrimination.
