We have been engaged by the Commonwealth Department of Health to undertake an evaluation of the Australian Government's $3.9 billion investment in primary health care through the Indigenous Australians' Health Programme. Following a co-design process, which involved establishing and partnering with a Health Sector Co-design Group and engagement with state/territory stakeholders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to develop the evaluation's scope, focus and methodological approach to the evaluation, we are implementing the evaluation over 2019 to 2022.
We were engaged by the Department of Health to provide secretariat and scientific services in support of the per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) Expert Health Panel. We undertook meeting management, a literature review on potential health impacts of PFAS, a public consultation process, and report drafting.
We are engaged by the Australian Department of Health to provide secretariat and research services to support the Breast Screen Australia program. Our work includes providing meeting management services to the Breast-screening Technical Reference Group, preparing literature reviews, and updating position statements.
We were asked to provide a Program Manager to manage, with the Head of Secretariat, the delivery of a program of work which would ultimately result in a report to Government on the future directions for mental health and wellbeing in New Zealand. Our staff also contributed to the provision of direct support for Inquiry panel members, including travelling the country with members, and minute taking for Panel meetings.
The New Zealand Ministry of Social Development engaged us to provide a literature review on the methods used to estimate the size, scale and nature of the full homeless population. The literature review included a high-level description of the different methods and approaches that have been developed, tested and implemented to estimate the size and nature of homeless populations.
We are engaged by New South Wales Health to provide a Menu Check Service to support the implementation of the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy. Through the Service, we check the menus of school canteens at primary and secondary schools in New South Wales and provide a summary of results to support canteens to implement the Strategy.
